HEY SILLY MILLY
Milly is not your average kid. She is silly, spunky, smart, and in love with her purple polka-dotted pants. Milly and her siblings love to be outdoors exploring all that nature has to offer. So when it is her turn for show and tell at school, Milly wants to dazzle her class.
Her silly idea: train the ants to spell out MILLY.
As you can imagine, a jar full of ants in the classroom causes a major disruption when training ants doesn’t go as planned. Milly’s teacher uses the simple science of sugar to show Milly and her classmates how you can in fact train ants to go where you want them to go… outside!
This picture book is sure to entertain any kid who has ever had ants in their pants.
About the Author
When Milan Hoy was 7 years old, she went to a career day at school. As a result, she decided she wanted to be an author. She dreamed of seeing her name on one of the books at the book fair. Milan’s ultimate goal for this book is that it is a mirror for kids to see themselves as the main character.
Furthermore, Milan hopes that by reading her book, kids will be inspired to know they can do anything they set their mind to, including being an author. Watch below for Milan’s commercial on how to cure boring-bookitis by reading her book.
